We went up Genesee to Torrey Pines, through Del Mar and all the way to Carlsbad without touching the freeway once. I think the nicest stretches are Torrey Pines, Del Mar and Carlsbad. Encinitas get's a little bit ghetto and you lose the view for a few miles. ;) Cool, we did that once when we lived in Clairemont. That's an awesome road! I usually start way up north, in Carlsbad.
