Hottest Day Ever

Posted by Steven in Home on July 22nd, 2006 at 03:23pm

We noticed it was extremely hot this morning around 9:00 and figured it would surely be another hot day. I checked the forecast which said the high in La Mesa for today would be 98 degrees. Not uncommon here in east San Diego for the last few weeks. So, we’ve been sitting inside with the air conditioning on. I’m working on a top secret project while my love works on her homework.

Then, a few minutes ago, I checked weather.com and saw this!

The highest recorded temperature in La Mesa, CA was 109°F in 1988.

Today is the hottest day ever recorded in La Mesa!

I guess if you said what the top secret project is it wouldn’t be a secret. Keep cool!

This is strange. It’s pouring rain right now. Forecast says 99 degrees. I guess we’re tropical now. :)
