		<description>Interesting also that the people of California voted to ban gay marriage while at the same time electing a very pro-gay marriage president. I think it proves that we as a nation are still mostly conservative... and perhaps just voted for candidate without really knowing (or caring) how liberal they are.

And another thing I&#039;d like to say is that it&#039;s not true when those against Prop 8 say it will not affect the way religious organizations operate. Remember a few years ago when Catholic Charities in Boston closed their adoption operation because they refused the government&#039;s demand to place children with gay couples? That tip of the iceberg is a perfect example.</description>
